Snow and Quiet, Except for Cats
Quiet. Lots of quiet. The snow is muffling all the outside noises and it is as yet too early for me to add to the sounds of domestic industry. A look out the window is all Currier and Ives and undistrubed beauty.
The cats, however, are being total whiny pests, separately and collectively. I do not know what has gotten into my dear felines, but I am ready to throw both of them on the balcony and lock them out.
Ah well, at least they provide a bit of motivation to do something other than stare out the window and listen to New Age soothing sounds. Or maybe today is more on the viol da gamba beta waves to the brain?
