Order of Mr. Potato Head

So I'm starting to read Tournament by David Crouch, and thinking how cool it would be to get some sort of special tournament circuit going that would reward stuff like splendid appearance on the field and reputation building and other medieval aspects of the tournament. Perhaps not by specific tournaments, but maybe by little adjunct lists and quests, etc. Then I'm wondering how you could motivate people to partcipate and think maybe a pseudo-order like the Sicilian Order of the Ship where you have a basic emblem (a ship) and get to add ornamentation (an anchor, a sail, some rigging) as you accomplish specific things.

And then I thought about the Order of the Mr. Potato Head. So wrong and so right on so many levels.
