Signs That Actually Mean Nothing

The gods have intervened. I was in the process of writing a longish e-mail to the boss' boss trying to explain yet one more time that we need some project management if we hope to succeed on this shift to "rich content" that keeps getting talked about.

I was in the final polishing stages when my computer spontaneously shut down, thus destroying all my diplomacy.

I shrieked and called the tech group.

Two hours later they're still playing Twilight Zone opening credits with my machine.

Now I have to decide if the Powers That Be want me to overcome difficulties and get that memo written or if I should just resign myself to silence.
