Frumpy Geeks on the Job Campaign Trail

We expect temperatures in the upper 80's and high humidity today along with thunderstorms.

I am (in)appropriately dressed in a black polyester suit for my interview.

Bleh.

Thoughts of gratitude go to whomever invented antiperspirant.

It is, however, a very sharp interview suit, fits well (for a change), and perfectly in line with all that conveys competence and superiority.

My hair is neatly drawn back in an attempt to hide my habitual look. The one that my mother always describes as "You look like you've been pulled through a bush backwards."

It is hard to put a smooth varnish on a frumpy geek. Especially one short of sleep from no A/C. Grump.

Thanks to Thjora who already wished me luck. The rest of you, I beg your supportive thoughts!

Dear me, garb seems to be on many people's minds these days. I have in fact completed major construction on a new gored tunic. The hems need to be done, but other than that and a slight tightness in the sleeves, I'm am pleased.

One more is one the agenda prior to Pennsic. I have indeed decided that the bog stompin' look is the way to go this summer.
