The Best Kind of Marriage
I write this as I'm in the lobby of the hotel in Oakland waiting for the cab to start the return trip home.
Celynen was married yesterday, and a more beautiful bride I cannot imagine. It was like watching the fantasy of a bride. She was not only to lovely to look upon, but she was truly enjoying herself and the people around her, and she and her new husband clearly adore each other. It's not the dual-obssessed kind of adoration that lives only for itself, but rather showed the kind of comfort and awareness of the other people in their lives that is fundamental to a mature and balanced relationship. I think they'll have the best kind of marriage; one based on love and respect. Marvelous. I'm so happy to have had the chance to share the moment.
