Renewed Mom Worries
I spoke too soon; my mother may indeed have cancer. The first biopsy was not malignant, but there was a second spot that her doctor decided with worth a CT scan. There's something growing between her lung and a rib and it has been causing her pain for a while now. She has a needle biopsy on that tomorrow, but the cultures will take a week or two.
At least Mom's still not smoking much. My sister says Mom sneaks a cigarette every couple of days, but she's been doing pretty well and her cough has finally cleared up. That's something.
