Happy Halloween?

I'm wondering this morning if my acquaintance includes a disproportionate number of gay men.

This notion may simply be due to being at a party yesterday hosted by one of my favorite gay couples. Naturally many of their friends would be gay, but then many of them are my friends too.

Anyway, it just struck me.

And today is Halloween. Boo. Or is it Bah? I used to like getting dressed up in costume, etc. Now I just want to avoid the sugar glut and get on with life.

I still haven't cancelled my appointment with the career counselor, and now I think I'm not going to. Even if I'm not going to be actively searching for a job, there are probably work issues that could use some discussion and exploration.

At the party yesterday Igor and I determined that we need to start a new political party. We named it the Washersonian Party for those who would reluctantly enter the political arena because they see it as a necessity, but don't really want to be elected.
