Klattu Barada Nicto motet

I am *so* lucky in my friends.

Spent Easter with a large group of the usual suspects. The holiday traditions include a lot of eating, some drinking, and a great deal of singing. During one conversation there was a comparison of various favorite choral pieces. Someone mentioned a particularly beautiful old hymn that has been modernized with some faux language to get rid of the less politically correct aspects of the verse. One wit then said perhaps we should write a motet to something like "Klattu Barada Nicto," then a couple of people proceded to improvise one. It had me in tears of laughter.

Maybe you had to be there.
