A Small Rant on \"Adult\" E-mail

This morning I have yet again cleared out my e-mail inbox of dozens of foul spams. I am yet again offended by ad that call themselves "adult" in content.

There is absolutely nothing adult about them. They are the worst sort of adolescent purient garbage designed to prey upon the immature and stupid, or to amuse the sick.

I wouldn't care so much about it circulating out there (there are those to whom it appeals and that has been and always will be true) if I could just get rid of it. But these predators always find a way to defeat the best screening technology (of which my work e-mail's is not) and trying to "opt out" is useless.

This is just one of those constant assaults on my sensibilities that I hate, hate, hate.
