Career Counselor

My friends give good advice.

I met with a career counselor today whom Keilyn recommended. An excellent fellow. We had a nice chat, he clearly gets my personality type (INTJ), and gave me some good, solid exercises to do before we meet again in two weeks. If nothing else I should end up with a decent resume.

It has been a long time since I was on the job market, and much has changed. Although I like to think that neatness still counts. ;-) I just worry about what to do when my prospective boss is younger than I am.

I look like a leper today and will for at least a week. My dermatologist has noticed a few unhealthy patches on the skin on my face, and thought that a little sloughing off would be a good idea to get rid of the sun damage. In theory it will have the side effect of restoring my youthful peaches and cream skin tone (although the creases will remain). Before that I get to look like hell. What fun.

I have to find something interesting to do at work for the next few days, or I shall go mad, mad I tell you.
